Gunnison Gold Mines, Inc. was incorporated in Colorado and had properties along the rim of the Powder Horn Crater in Southern Gunnison County.
The company prospected three veins, for a length of 2,800 feet along the rim contact of the crater, which was located in the Neglected District, 23 miles southwest of the town of Gunnison.
