Beautifully engraved antique stock certificate from the Groveland Cheese Factory Association dating back to the early 1900's. This document, which is signed by the company President and Secretary, was printed by Goes and measures approximately 11" (w) by 8 1/4" (h).
The vignette features a trio of allegorical figures surrounded by a cornucopia, shield, eagle, gear and more.
The company produced a variety of dairy products, including milk and cheese.
The company's plant closed on January 22, 1917, with all assets being auctioned off.
Groveland is located in Western New York, just west of the Finger Lakes.
