    The Dixie Traction Company was incorporated in Kentucky in 1922 to operate a bus line from Fort Mitchell to Florence and Erlanger.

    The company was founded by Stephens L. Blakely, Logan Foster, William Rossell, and A. M. Bower.

    The company was acquired by the Cincinnati, Newport and Covington Transportation Company (Green Line System.)
