Beautifully engraved antique stock certificate from the Berkshire Mining & Development Company dating back to the 1910's. This document, which is signed by the company President and Secretary, was printed by Goes and measures approximately 10 3/4" (w) by 8 1/4" (h).
This certificate features a trio of mining vignettes at the top - a pair of showcasing miners at work, with a third showing a mountain mining scene.

The Berkshire Mining & Development Company was incorporated in Duluth, Minnesota and owned the Berkshire iron mine in Ashland County, Wisconsin, near the town of Mellon on the west end of the Gogebic Range.
