Beautifully engraved antique stock certificate from the Ardmore and Llanerch Street Railway Company dating back to the 1920's. This document, which is signed by the company Vice President and Treasurer, was printed by the American Bank Note Company and measures approximately 11 3/4" (w) by 8" (h).

The Ardmore & Llanerch Street Railway Company was incorporated in 1901, and in 1902 it opened a line between Ardmore, Pennsylvania and Llanerch, Haverford Township, Pennsylvania.
Upon opening the line, the company was leased to the Philadelphia and West Chester Traction Company.
