Intricately engraved antique stock certificate from the Ticonderoga Rail Road Company dating back to the 1920's. This document, which has been signed by the company President and Secretary, was printed by Benj. D. Benson, Stationer, and measures approximately 11" (w) by 6 3/4" (h).
The vignette features a train steaming down the tracks.

Historical Context
The Ticonderoga Rail Road Company was incorporated in New York on December 13, 1889.
In August of 1891, the Delaware and Hudson took possession of the line, and began to maintain, manage and operate the road.
The D&H leased the Ticonderoga Railroad until it outright purchased the line in 1928.
