Beautifully engraved antique stock certificate from the Atlantic City & Shore Railroad Company dating back to the early 1900's. This document was printed by the Security Bank Note Company and measures approximately 11 1 /2" (w) by 8 1/2" (h).
This certificate's unique triple vignette features a trolley flanked by a pair of beach scenes.

Historical Context
The Atlantic City & Shore Railroad Company was incorporated under laws of New Jersey on October 21, 1905. the company's line extended from Atlantic City via Pleasantville, Linwood and Somers Point to Ocean City.
The line was known as the "Shore Fast Line" and operated until 1948.
The company also operated during the summer time a line of five steamers between Longport and Ocean City.
