Nicely engraved antique bond certificate from the Hoboken Railroad and Terminal Company dating back to the 1920's. This document, which is signed by the company President and Secretary, was printed by the Hamilton Bank Note Company and measures approximately 10" (w) by 14 1/2" (h).
The vignette features an eagle on a crag.
Over a page and a half of coupons remain attached at the top margin.

Historical Context
The Hoboken Railroad and Terminal Company was incorporated in Delaware in 1927. The company was owned by the Paul Chapman Company.
The company owned the Hoboken Manufacturers' Railroad, which it sold to Seatrain lines in 1931.
