Beautifully engraved antique stock certificate from the Luning Consolidated Silver Mines Co. dating back to the 1920's. This document, which is signed by the company President and Secretary, was printed by A. Carlisle & Co. of San Francisco, and measures approximately 11 3/4" (w) by 7 1/2" (h).

Historical Context
The Luning Consolidated Silver Mines Co. was formed by a merger in early in 1920 of the Luning Gold Mines Co. and R. B. Todd Mining Co. The company was controlled by L. A. Browne and associates of San Francisco and New York City.
The company had 13 claims over 260 acres, in the Pilot range in the Santa Fe mining district of Nevada.
