Historical Context
The United States Moving Pictures Corporation was incorporated in 1921 in Delaware as a successor to the United States Photoplay Corporation. Company offices were located in the Fiske Building in New York City. The company appears to have been involved in only one picture - The Atheist. The picture, which was formerly named The Threshold, was based on an original story by Garfield Thompson and was directed by Joseph Levering, with a cast including Walter Ringham, Belle Bennett, Denton Vane, Jean Robertson, and little Rita Rogan, the child actress. |
