Beautifully engraved antique stock certificate from the Western Railway Construction Company dating back to the 1870's. This document was printed by V. M. Ramee Jr. Stationer of New York and measures approximately 11 1/2" (w) by 7 1/2" (h).
This certificate features a great vignette of a train crossing over a precarious looking mountain valley bridge. An eagle looks on from a crag. A second vignette at the left side depicts the Iowa State Seal.
