Historical Context
The Moore Motor Vehicle Company was incorporated in South Dakota on July 13, 1916.
The company manufactured automobiles in plants in Danville, Illinois and Minneapolis, Minnesota. From 1916 through 1920 the company produced approximately 1,000 vehicles - all of which were the only model the company every produced - the Model 30.
In 1920, the company attempted to develop a working relationship with the Marwin Motor Truck Company, but efforts failed and the company fell into bankruptcy. In December of the same year, the company assets were sold at auction.
