Historical Context
The Superior and Boston Copper Company was incorporated in Arizona in 1906.
The coimpany's property was located about four miles from Globe in the Copper Hill district.
The property was originally owned by the Globe and Arizona Development Co. Very little work was done on the claims before the Superior and Boston Copper Company took over the property and development was begun in 1907.
The mine was closed in 1910 but reopened in March 1913. The Superior and Boston ran the mine until 1929.
