Historical Context
The Lone Star Broadcast Company was incorporated in Texas and was based in San Antonio.
The company briefly operated radio stations in Texas including KTSA (San Antonio), KWWG (Brownsville), KFQG (Fort Worth) and KFLC (Dallas).
Company President J. M. Gilliam (who has signed this piece) was indicated on fraud charges in 1927 in connection with the sale of the company's stock. This, in conjunction with new federal radio regulations, appears to have destroyed as the company sold off it's stations that same year.
Gilliam returned to the radio business two years later at WACO.
