Historical Context
The Corning Printing Company was incorporated in New York in 1911, and was based in Corning.
The company claimed to be the publisher of the first aeroplane catalogue in the world. The booklet had 30 pages and contained over 50 illustrations, and was produced by the Curtiss Exhibition Company. The catalogue - simply called Curtiss Aeroplanes - also provided a brief history of aviation in the United States, including the first flight made in America.
The Corning Printing Company was also the publisher of the Leader Press.
