Historical Context
The Continental Mines, Power and Reduction Company was incorporated in Colorado in 1905 and was based in Denver.
As the title implies, the company owned mining, utility and mill properties throughout the state. These included the Seemann Tunnel, the Hydro-Electric power plant and the Lombard mill.
The Lomabrd mine owned a number of patented mining claims, most of which were located in the northeast corner of Clear Creek County.
The company was held by the Seeman Investment and Finance Company.
