Intricately engraved antique stock certificate from the Mary McKinney Mining Company dating back to the early 1900's. This document, which is signed by the company President and Secretary, was printed by the Smith Brooks Ptg. Co. and measures approximately 10 3/4" (w) by 7 3/4" (h).

Historical Context
The Mary McKinney Mining Company was operated in the Cripple Creek District in the early 1900s. The operation was founded by F. Costello, A.C. Van Cott and J.C. Robinson.
The company owned 34 1/2 acres on Gold Hill, adjoining the Anaconda property. Its mines - the Mary McKinney and the Republic - ultimately produced over $2.5 million in gold.
