Historical Context
The Drake Process Machinery Company was incorporated in Cleveland, Ohio in 1919. Offices were located on West Fourth Street, while a factory was at the corner of Quincy Avenue and East 105th Street. The company was organized by Walter H. Drake and owned a number of patents for the production of pulp and paper products. The company manufactured the machinery to make pulp products, not the products themselves. The entity appears to have been short-lived, with no record of its existence appearing after 1921. |
