Historical Context
The Fullerton and Richfield Railway Company was incorporated February 18, 1910, under the general laws of California. It was controlled by the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad through ownership of its entire capital stock.
The property was operated under lease by the Santa Fe. The railroad was a single-track standard gauge steam railroad, aggregating 5.1 miles, and extending from Fullerton to Richfield, all in California. The road was constructed for the company during the year 1910. The construction work was performed by the Santa Fe for account of the company.
