Nicely engraved antique stock certificate from the Wichita River Oil Corporation dating back to the 1960's. This document, which carries the printed signatures of the company President and Secretary, was printed by the American Bank Note Company and measures approximately 12" (w) by 8" (h).
The vignette features a female figure leaning on a sword, flanked by a helmet and globe.

The Wichita River Oil Corporation was originally incorporated in Virginia in 1917. The company owned and operated oil and gas properties in Metairie, Louisiana.The company filed for bankruptcy in 2015.
