Beautifully engraved antique stock certificate from the Tiffin Street Railway Company dating back to the 1890's. This document, which is signed by the company President and Secretary, was printed by E. P. Cole, Stationer and measures approximately 10 1/4" (w) by 6 3/4" (h).
The vignette features a trolley on a small town street.

Historical Context
The Tiffin Street Railway Company was incorporated in Ohio in 1887. The company operated a line in the town of Tiffin.
Tiffin is the county seat of Seneca County. Developed along the Sandusky River, which flows to Lake Erie, Tiffin is about 55 miles southeast of Toledo.
The line was purchased by the Globe Street Railway of Fall River Massachusetts in 1889.
