Historical Context
Shea’s Winnipeg Brewery (known as the House of Shea) was founded by Patrick Shea, with the help of his son Frank, and quickly became one of the largest breweries in Manitoba. It was later absorbed by LaBatt's during the 1950's.
The company had a show wagon headed by a champion Clydesdale draft horse team, that was eventually sold to Anheuser-Busch following a tour in 1933.
