Historical Context
Beaver Creek Distillery, Inc. was incorporated in Iowa in 1966 and was based in Fort Dodge. The company was formed as a vodka distiller that was to use Iowa corn, but was never more than a paper entity.
The company's first President was John H. Mitchell, who served as Iowa's Attorney General and was speaker of Iowa's House of Representatives.
In late May of 1968, the company was renamed Beaver Creek Industries, Inc., and in 1973 it became the Xacron Corporation.
